Community support & services

When we share our knowledge and resources, our community thrives. From job applications and accessing Centrelink to providing computer and internet access, we’re here to help. We also welcome you to enjoy our Street Library and contribute to our Food Pantry, plus so much more.

Centrelink Access Point

Warracknabeal Neighbourhood House is a Services Australia (Centrelink) Self Serve Access point. We make it easy with free computer, printer, fax and phone use for all your Services Australia needs.

Free Wi-Fi

Connect to our Free WiFi available in the Centre. See reception for a passcode.

Toner cartridges recycling

Each year, millions of printer cartridges end up in Australian landfill, just one cartridge takes up to 1000 years to decompose! Drop your empty cartridges to us to be recycled into pens, rulers, asphalt, as well as a timber-replacement product called eWoodTM, which is used to make outdoor furniture, fencing, recycling bins and garden beds.

Christian Emergency Food Hampers

The Christian Emergency Food Centre (CEFC) is a not-for-profit organisation that is overseen by the Horsham Christian Ministers' Association to assist individuals and families in need.

Emergency food parcels are available for individuals and families in need. These can be accessed from Neighbourhood House, available on request. Proof of identification is required (confidentiality assured).

Food Pantry Collection point

Donations to the Food Pantry are gratefully accepted by the Warracknabeal Neighbourhood House. These donations are then passed on to the food pantry at the Warracknabeal Community Garden for those in need.

We accept non-perishable items (within best-before dates), such as UHT milk and fruit juice, cereals, canned goods, pasta, small tins of coffee and small packs of tea bags.

Text Angie on 0438 981 460 if you need an emergency Food Hamper.
